One of five Chicago Cityscapes up for auction: Titled "Washington Street between State and Dearborn, Chicago, showing Crosby's Opera House in the year 1864" Engraved in aquatint by Raoul Varin for Mr Ernest Byfield and published by A. Ackerman & Sons, Chicago Sept. 1927 Numbered 15 of 100 Original frame 29" wide by 24" high, print covered in unbroken glass.  Print is 21" wide by 17" high. Appraised recently by a professional appraiser, noted as "Brown with very slight color" Before bidding, artwork can be viewed at our office (a printing company) in Schaumburg, IL during regular business hours, by appointment.  E-mail to make arrangements or if you have any questions.
