F-102 Large album of containing a selection of silver-print photographs of Germany in the first decade of the last century. Largely composed of images of Garmisch-Partenkircken in the Bavarian Alps, this album actually opens with (5) well-composed professional images of a large city, seemingly Berlin (11 x 15cm, approx). These are followed by (10) absolutely beautiful larger silver prints of the town of Garmisch and its environs, including several wonderful images of Alpine ice formations. These images (each approx 23 x 17cm) are crimped in the margins by the local “Rudolphi” photo atelier. Further Alpine images follow, including a series of (6) smaller images of ice formations, a panoramic image of the town, and (5) additional somewhat smaller images of the village and its Alpine surroundings. A lovely collection of photographs, enclosed in the original colorful period tie-bound album (37 x 28cm, approx).
