This is an excellent quality limited edition giclee print in mint condition, signed and numbered by Darren Haley called " Goldfinch and Thistle " It is an edition of 495 S/N. It has an overall size of 9.25 X 7 inches and beautiful piece !! Great colors and super detail. Darren was Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year for 1999 and 2000 and has many Ducks Unlimited sponsor prints. We sell his originals and they are exquisite !!! Giclee refers to a specific type of art print reproduction. State of the art digital technology has made it possible to create an art print that is extremely difficult to distinguish from the original painting. There are three substantial differences between Pigmented Tru-Giclee and offset lithograph. Offset lithography has four colors, 300 dots per square inch and 1 year without noticeable fading. Pigmented Tru Giclee has eight colors, minimun 1440 dots per square inch and 150 years without noticeable fading. The associated technology is so remarkable that the inks can actually be applied directly to archival watercolor paper . This is a great piece and incredible vibrancy.
