Size 8" tall, 6" wide, 2.25" thick. Signed by the artist T. Jiri. Not sure the stone, is very hard. These are carved by hand using no power tools. Shona Sculpture is a famous and important art from Zimbabwe, Southern Africa. Carved by the Shona Tribe. For more info check out Spiritsinstone.com. I personally selected these at Newlands market in Harare, Zimbabwe. Will combine to save on shipping. See my other African art listed as I brought a container back from my travels and will be listing much more. I predict this art form will go up in value as Zimbabwe is having many problems.
